The sacrament of baptism is an outward and visible sign of the grace of God. Baptism with water and the Holy Spirit is the sign and seal of our common faith as believers and followers of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Since baptism is God’s gift, the Holy Spirit is called to be upon the water and those being baptized.
At Farmingville United Church of Christ, children and adults are welcome to receive the sacrament of baptism.
Baptisms of infants/young children generally take place during worship.
